Jan Madeleine Paynter is a writer who lives and works in Charlottesville. She is the Producer, Writer and Host of the political interview program Politics Matters.
Paynter is on on advisory board of The Charlottesville Institute having previously served as Vice President and Director of Communications for the Charlottesville chapter of an international nonprofit organization. Currently, she is researching a biography of World War II resistance fighters and is also at work on a book of essays and prose poetry.
