Jan Madeleine Paynter is a writer who lives and works in Charlottesville. She is the Host, Writer and Producer of the political interview program Politics Matters. She is Vice President and Director of Communications for the Charlottesville chapter of an international non profit organization. Currently, she is researching a biography of World War II resistance fighters and is at work on a book of essays and prose poetry.
