CARTOON CAPTION CONTEST: LEARN MORE

Consideration:

The purpose of our contest is to stimulate thoughtful, creative solutions concerning political and social issues of major importance to YOU. What matters about the way in which our Community, State and Federal Government works? What would you like to see changed? What existing programs or concepts need to be revised or perhaps abandoned all together? What would you like to see us stand for as a Community and as a Nation going forward? What key Founding Ideas and Principles concerning our country need to be reintroduced for consideration?

The lead-in for the cartoon is "Two animals are talking...." On the bottom of the cartoon is the quote from one of the animals, "I'm not entirely sure that's what Jefferson had in mind...." The drawing is up to you!

In drawing your political cartoon, you can choose from any topic that is of particular interest to you, for example:
  • The current state of the Economy, Unemployment and Job creation
